Floral Colour Correction

Dried flowers naturally lose some of their original vibrancy during the drying process, and over time, their colours can continue to fade. To help your flowers stay looking their best for longer, we offer a colour correction service as an optional extra.

This process involves carefully and professionally adding artificial colour to your dried blooms, enhancing their appearance while still maintaining a natural look. Whether you’re after a more vivid finish or simply want to preserve the original tones of your flowers, this service can make a big difference.

Colour correction is perfect for those who want their arrangements to remain bright and vibrant for years to come.

Floral Colour Matching

While we will always do our best to colour match your flowers to their original shades, please note that an exact match cannot be guaranteed. Variations in flower types, textures, and how they absorb colour can all affect the final result. However, we aim to achieve a close and visually pleasing finish that complements the natural look of your arrangement.

Please note that we cannot offer colour correction on all types of flowers. Extremely textured or fragile flowers such as proteas, banksias, everlastings, and baby’s breath are not suitable for this process. Additionally, we do not currently colour correct foliage.

Once we receive your flowers, we will let you know whether your chosen florals can be colour corrected.

Pricing

Our colour correction service starts from $100, but are usually priced at ~$300 for a full bouquet. Final pricing is calculated based on:

  • The number of flowers requiring colour correction
  • The number of different colours to be applied
  • The techniques and methods used to achieve the desired finish

We’ll provide a custom quote once we understand your arrangement and preferences.

The Finished Look

Colour corrected flowers have been artificially enhanced, which does result in a different appearance compared to naturally dried blooms.

We encourage you to view examples below of both colour corrected and non-colour corrected pieces so you can decide what’s best for your style and space.
